Each day of the CIBET Initiative holds six hours of course material, usually divided into three morning and three afternoon sessions. There is a short break in the morning after the first session a longer break after the second session and a lunch break after the third session. In the afternoon a short break follows the first session and a longer break follows the second session. Lunch is offered as part of the CIBET program and there will be coffee, beverage and snack services throughout the day.
The Boot Camp sessions held at the beginning of the week offer an overview of topics in DAS Science fundamentals. Then, Basic CIBET Training kicks off on the morning of the second day for in building engineers and PMs who spend eleven sessions together and seven sessions separately in pursuit of their certification. The advanced CIBET Training kicks off on Tuesday morning for more experienced students looking for a deeper dive into DAS deployment technology issues. At the end of each day there is a quiz and at the end of the week on Friday morning there will be a comprehensive review prior to the certification test. Certification Test Results will be available early Friday afternoon for participants willing to stay. Those who leave early will have their Certification notification and or test results promptly e-mailed.
Highlights include:
> Design Review Observation/Participation for all participants
> An afternoon dedicated to performing different technical tasks
including PIM detection, Cable Connectorizing, Fusion Splicing,
Field Data Collection for Model Calibration and additional
opportunities to get hands on familiar with the in building tasks that
are regularly performed.
> Seven specialized talks in sessions dedicated to the needs of project
managers
> Moot Court like design review of Advanced Build Off Challenge
